How to add SEO Manager's code to your Shopify theme

To fully take advantage of SEO Manager, your theme needs to be modified a bit. It's fairly easy to do, but if you would like our team of professionals to assist you (for free) please email: support@seomanager.com

We have put some steps below for how you can verify whether SEO Manager's code is present on your theme, and how to add it in case it is missing.


Check Theme

If you are unsure if SEO Manager has been installed properly in your theme:

In the SEO Manager app, go to Settings.

In the Theme settings, under Check Theme, click Verify theme code:

Add SEO Manager to your theme

If you recently changed themes, you will need to reinstall SEO Manager. This involves adding the SEO Manager code files to your theme and adjusting your theme to properly use them. For this, follow the steps below:

In the SEO Manager app, go to Settings.

In the Theme settings, under Update SEO Manager, click Update SEO Manager code:
